A Celebration of Creation The Blessing of the Animals during the 'Missa Gaia' or 'Earth Mass' performed annually by the Paul Winter Consort in New York's Cathedral of St. John the Divine is the subject of A CELEBRATION OF CREATION, the new video directed by Patrick Malone for South Bay Productions. The documentary follows Mary Bloom, who organizes for the Cathedral the procession of animals of all different shapes, sizes and smells which processes through the enormous building at the end of the annual performance of the 'Earth Mass'. In following the location and selection of the animals and their keepers for the procession, the video looks at how the Cathedral's annual presentation of the 'Earth Mass' came to be.
